Co-founders

CO-FOUNDER

ADA GUŠTIN HABUŠ, Ph.D.

She brings a unique blend of academic insight, business expertise, and a deep interest in psychology and technology to Kolibri Labs. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana, where she also served as a teaching assistant. During her studies, she spent a semester as a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, specializing in Behavioral Economics and Game Theory. This experience sparked her interest in how AI can be used to understand complex human behaviors.

Certified in Coaching Psychology, Ada joined the Uporabna Psihologija (Applied Psychology) team as a Coach. She remains actively involved at SEB UL as a visiting professional, lecturing in Managerial Economics and coordinating four courses in the Technology Management module of the IMB program. Additionally, she lectures on Financing Growing Ventures and International Entrepreneurship, staying at the forefront of technological advancements in business.

Before co-founding KOLIBRI LABS, Ada was a part of the Silicon Gardens Fund team, working closely with fast-growing tech companies.

MATIC PERIC

He brings over 15 years of experience in the software industry to KOLIBRI LABS. As a seasoned tech entrepreneur, he has co-founded multiple software companies and successfully managed projects for multinational clients, including industry giants like BMW, Mini, and Httpool.

One of his most notable achievements was developing an app that garnered over 15 million monthly active users, showcasing his knack for creating impactful software solutions.

In recent years, Matic has been passionately focusing on the intersection of AI and software development, exploring its potential to solve significant challenges.

DEAN HABUŠ

He is a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record in developing software solutions for enterprise clients. He has co-founded three startups, each known for their innovative approach to solving business problems.

His first startup was acquired by a company that was eventually bought by Heineken. For his second venture, he secured a strategic partnership and investment from Generali Holding. His third startup received global approval from one of the world’s largest furniture retailers. These achievements highlight his ability to navigate complex markets and create value-driven solutions.
